Kids/Family Yoga
Did you know that recent studies have shown that the benefits of mindfulness in curriculum has increased focus, attention, self-control, classroom participation, compassion, improved academic performance, ability to resolve conflict, overall well-being, and decreased levels of stress, depression, anxiety, disruptive behavior?
I customize programs to fit the needs of each event and I present a fun and engaging program to get kids interested in mindfulness or a yoga practice. From breathing techniques, to asanas, to rhymes/songs, to yoga-based literature –there are several elements used in creating a fun and engaging program. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, so I feel that my programs are both engaging and developmentally appropriate. I am hoping to share my passion and love for yoga with the younger generation.
